Lallapolosa Baking Company

The name Lallapolosa means ‘something exceptional of its kind’ and this firm fixture at the market and local favourite, creates the most delectable of brownies, cookies, cakes and confections.

They have caused quite a stir in the food world, launching an online boutique in 2012, a local cafe in 2018 (26 Blomfield Road, KT1 2SE) and winning a hat-full of national Gold Star Great Taste Awards. They were even featured in the Evening Standard’s Christmas ES magazine. Husband and wife team, Elyse Savage and Adam Jones have built up a loyal following at our market. Not bad for a business that started life in the kitchen of their flat on Maple Road!
