Fast forward and they now have a thriving 15-acre estate outside the historic site from where they bring us their delicious, fruity olive oil named as one of the ten best in the UK. They also regularly drive to Sicily to bring us their lemons, orange blossom honey, tomato salsas, dried herbs, pasta sauces, cakes, nuts and almond biscuits. Every market they surprise us with something new from the region whether a cake, local cheese or their own delicious arancini. This delightful couple have supported us from the outset and have never missed a market.
